There are 12 days left before Easter services; if every Christian got busy inviting all the lost people they know to attend church on Easter Sunday, the seats would be OVERFLOWING with those who desperately need to hear the Gospel. There would be no room left for believers.
We would create an atmosphere and an opportunity for a powerful evangelistic message to reach those who need it most. The church family could celebrate in the parking lot, and pray throughout the service for everyone listening inside.
This approach would lead to the most exciting Easter service any follower of Jesus has ever had! Sadly, most Christians are so caught up in their own traditions they would never consider giving up their seat on Easter Sunday.
Time is running out; things need to be shaken up, and we have to start somewhere. How many people could you invite in the next twelve days if you put your mind to it? Post your invitation on social media, drop a line to your email list, and pick up the phone. Like a school girl hoping to be asked to the dance, you know people hoping someone will invite them to church on Easter. Don't let them down.
You might feel a little uncomfortable reaching out like this. A true follower of Jesus learns to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. It comes down to your temporary discomfort vs. someone else's eternal agony. Which are you going to choose?
It only takes a handful of committed people to start a movement. Are you one of them?
